What are the different types of gold washing machines?

There are four main types of gold washing machines. A sluice box is best for easy-to-wash and medium-sized ores. It is usually used in combination with a trommel wash plant or a vibrating washing screen. A grill is fixed down the length of the sluice to different-sized particles. The main benefit to sluice boxes is they allow for surging where other concentration methods do not. A gold trommel wash plant also known as a trommel scrubber is an elongated cylinder screen. A nozzle is attached to a tube in which the clay-containing ore is washed. A trommel should be used for clay, hard-to-wash and sticky materials. A spiral gold washer comes in three different styles: tilted, horizontal and combined. Tilt-tank washers are the most common among the three. Finally, there are vibrating screen gold washing machines that are used for easy-washed sand and gravel or shattered ore that can be separated by a flat vibrating screen equipped with a water sprayer. Vibratory wash plants are not recommended for clay or sticky materials. All of these types of gold washing machines can be manufactured as portable gold wash plants.
